When dating old photographs, there are three main sources of information to be taken into account. These include, although they are not always available:

  • the attributes and characteristics of the photographic mount or case
  • the image (fashion etc.)
  • trade directory entries

It may be that you do not have the time, inclination or expertise to date your own family photographs. If that is the case we will be delighted to do that for you using all of the above sources of information plus a few more – and to answer any other questions if we can.

For the cost involved, see Prices.

We also offer this service, at no additional cost, whenever the automated dating wizard results need to be supplemented by personal research.

All You Need To Do

Send us a scanned image or a photocopy.

We will respond as quickly as we can. When we have dated your photograph, we will ask you to make payment through the website or by whatever method is most suitable for you.

We look forward to hearing from you.
