Charles Cheetham Vevers 1868 – 1946

This biography is in a different format to all of our other biographies as it concentrates on the correspondence of a Victorian photographic equipment maker, retailer, photographer and technical author rather than on his full life story. The main emphasis is on a fantastic archive of letters, quotes and invoices dating from the 1890s.

The second part of this article on Charles Cheetham Vevers consists of a list of ephemera sent to him by many of the leading players in the photography manufacturing and supply trade in the 1890s. Scans of the correspondence can be made available.
